Julie’s passion is helping people find a deeper connection with themselves, as well as within community. One of Julie’s greatest joys and gifts is her ability to help people find more freedom in their bodies, more easeful movements, and release of tension and stress ~ whether this is experienced on the dance floor or on the massage table.
Julie has been interested in personal growth and the healing arts for a few decades. After completing her undergraduate studies in Philosophy, at Queens University in Ontario, she found herself on the West Coast of BC, expanding her worldview and broadening her horizons. Immediately drawn to movement and the healing arts, she tried on any dance form she could find, as well as pursued coursework in various hands-on healing modalities. She was fuelled by a desire to find the pathways that led to deep transformational healing in the body-heart-mind.
Julie currently teaches the 5Rhythms® to both adults and youth and has a thriving bodywork practice out of her home studio. She also teaches 5Rhythms® and does bodywork at various locations throughout the Sunshine Coast. Dance students and bodywork clients alike express feelings of openness, relaxation, connection, and joy after a session with Julie.
